Did you find the __lib__folder on your box & check for xod folder within? ‘mechanical-switch’ node does not produce this error for me, so I assume you have a modified version (or version from old XOD install). Removiing the __lib__\xod folder and restarting XOD would resolve that issue.
Thank you for your help. I have decided to start again with a fresh download on a Win 11 machine. Some of the libraries I am downloading are showing in RED. Should I delete these or wait until I have downloaded all of the libraries I want ?
If you have a fresh install with no bad nodes in xod folders and a new library download is showing red, then there is a good chance the library is out-of-date & isn’t working with newest XOD release. You can try fixing it yourself or asking the original owner to make the required updates. Unfortunately, XOD development has stagnated since the start of the Ukraine war and embargoes cut off funding to the Russian developers
