What is the best way to make a digital output go low for 1 second if another digital input receives a low pulse?
This seems it should be simple but I just can’t get my head around it without the output latching.

You can try this, I do not know if it’s the simplest thing. but you can start

Agreed. Any time you want something to happen for X time, delay node is probably the correct solution.
