I have a new laptop and installed XOD IDE. On my old laptop I had no problems but now I receiver the message “Tools failed to install. FetchError: request to https://storage.googleapis.com/releases.xod.io/packages/win32-avr-tools.tar.gz failed, reason: unable to verify the first certificate”, during deploy/upload to Arduino.
Can someone help me out.
For some odd reason Kaspersky software does not like this URL. Do you have Kaspersky? If so, try to temporarily disable it while the first deployment takes place.
You can install toolchain manually as well: Can I manualy install the toolchain?
I did install the files into the directory
“C:\Users\Broers\AppData\Roaming\xod-client-electron\packages\arduino\hardware\avr”
The error message is the same, the same problem.
