gst/eeprom-read-write-uint16bit example returns a compiler error: “# include <EEPROM.h>”. How is that library added through XOD?

the library will be installed automaticly.
The pc must been conected to the i-net. At the first compilation XOD will check its presence in your workspace and if it does not find a library, it will offer to download and install it just by clicking on the button in the IDE.
Note After installation, you will need to run the compilation again.
