About the Biomaker category

Biomaker is an open scheme to promote interdisciplinary team-based projects at the intersection of electronics, 3D printing, sensors and communication technology for low cost DIY instrumentation.

See: www.biomaker.org

The initiative supports the use of a wide range of open, low-cost accessible tools to help biologists and engineers collaborate and build custom devices for biological research. XOD simplifies the coding and development of devices by non-programmers, and facilitates co-creation in teams with diverse skill sets.

This section of the XOD forum contains questions and answers about the programming of scientific instruments for real-world use in the lab and the field.
