ALL GOOD I FIGURED IT OUT - WRONG CONNECTION ON MY END – UNRELATED QUESTION ON A 2IC LCD THE ADDRESS IS 0X27 ON THE LCD , BUT ON THE XOD NODE ON THE LCD IT 27h , THE LCD NODE DOES NOT ACCEPT 0X27 , DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THIS IS CORRECT ?

0x## & ##h are both ways to represent hexadecimal numbers (base 16), so 0x27 & 27h would be the same number.
