I have worked in research of one type or another for 30 years as an electrical engineer. In all of that time I have only learned to program in basic. All of the projects I have done never needed anything more than that, I did do a beginners coarse in “C” in 1999. Since I have retired I am trying to build a robot arm, the electronics are very straight forward, but building the software is a bit of a challenge for me.
