# Update to 0.22.0 not installing

0.22.1 just hangs when I click update: W10

Hello!

We don’t show a progress bar (yet, unfortunately). So it might be the IDE downloads but slowly. If there’s actually an error, it should be reported to the developer console (press Ctrl+Shift+I → Console). Is any red text there? If so, please, post its verbatim here.

If not, try to wait longer and if nothing helps, just download the latest version from [https://xod.io/downloads/](https://xod.io/downloads/) and install it right over the current version.

Yeah I waited quite a while and nothing. I manually downloaded. No biggie

So in the in the past year a progress bar still hasn’t been added.

Anyway, may I ask how to manually download and install the update? Thank you!
