# Not escaping for regex in "search node"

1. Not escaping in regex

- try typing a ‘+’ in the “search nodes” box.

- observe error in dev tools log: `Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid regular expression: /+/: Nothing to repeat`

- Presumably interpolating into a regex without escaping
