# Load Cell with HX711

Is there a way to add a load cell with and HX711 amp into the patch, i cant seem to find a way.

XOD has no built-in node for this particular part. But you can [make your own](https://xod.io/docs/guide/#making-your-own-nodes).

Happily I found this thread, all this is very real for me. I’m thinking of purchasing new [load cells](https://tacunasystems.com/zc) with appropriate amplifiers, but some of my skills and knowledge in electronics are close to zero. Will continue following this discussion.
