Hi everyone,

I’m pretty new to [XOD](https://forum.xod.io/) and currently exploring its potential for automating logic-based systems. I recently started a [Workday Course](https://www.igmguru.com/erp-training/workday-training) to learn how enterprise cloud platforms handle business processes like HR, payroll, and finance. While the course is great, I wanted to experiment with simulating some of those workflows in a visual programming environment—just for learning purposes.

Is it possible to use XOD to model or prototype basic logic that mimics Workday-style workflows? For example, simulating conditional decisions (like leave approval or payroll triggers), and maybe even representing data flow visually?

I’m not looking to connect to Workday APIs—just curious if XOD can help me better understand how logic structures work behind the scenes.

Would love your input, examples, or even just a pointer to where I can get started with conditional logic in XOD.

Thanks in advance!
James

You could probably simulate a very basic work-flow, but that is not really the a good use-case for micro-controllers. You will probably be working with strings and lots of data, both of which will quickly chew through available memory.
